The Fantastic Four: First Steps tickets are on sale and Marvel has released a new (old) trailer, plus some new posters to celebrate. Let’s start with the new trailer which as I’m sure you guess by the (old) isn’t really new. We do get 1-2 shots here that are different, including our first look at baby Franklin Richards. However, the majority of what you see below is footage you’ve seen already.

Also, we do hear the words ‘Clobberin Time’ for the first time here.

Additionally, Marvel has released a ton of cool new posters for the film which opens on July 11.

Check them out.

‘Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.’

I really like these new posters, and I like what I see from the trailers. At this point, I kinda just don’t want anything else till the movie drops. I mean, it’s just over a month to wait at this point.

However, Marvel wants this to do well and they need bums in seats. So I do expect marketing to ramp up if anything from here on out. Hopefully they won’t spoil the whole film in trailers and spots. However, Marvel are normally not too bad at doing that with trailers, so we’ll see.

What do you think of this new (old) trailer and the posters to celebrate the tickets going on sale for The Fantastic Four: First Steps? Thoughts below.
