Full disclosure, I love Spider-Man! He has been my go-to hero since I was around 8 years old watching the ’90s cartoon. I have played almost every game since the Super Nintendo days. Before this new game comes out I suggest you find a way to visit a few from the past such as Separation Anxiety and Maximum Carnage on the Super Nintendo, Spider-Man on the PlayStation and N64, Spider-Man 2 on the PS2 and Xbox, and Web of Shadows on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Now onto this brand new trailer for the PS4 exclusive, Spider-Man.
This trailer shows off a lot of action. We see Spidey swinging through New York City, saving a helicopter, and fighting some Sinister Six baddies, whether or not that team specifically is mentioned has not been said. Fan favorite Miles Morales makes an appearance, but still no sign if he’ll put on his own costume.

We see Kingpin, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, and Mr. Negative, who all appear as villains. Kingpin makes mention of keeping order in the city while being arrested. Silver Sable is seen again in her capacity as a hired hand for Mayor Norman Osborn. She threatens Spider-Man about getting in her way. The views of NYC look stunningly detailed and ready to be explored. The gameplay looks fluid and brings hope for the most Spidey like gaming experience to date.
I have wonder if Sony had input with the game developer, Insomniac, to work Silver Sable in as a major player. This may be to help their planned movie starring her. I also wonder if any other Marvel heroes will make an appearance. We have been told that Avengers Tower and the Sanctum Sanctorum are in this version of NYC. Spider-Man hits shelves on September 7, 2018
