In a nod to the very first comic issue, the new TV spot for The Fantastic Four: First Steps features Giganto, a monster probably working for Mole Man. The new spot is essentially a pizza commercial. However, I doubt they made the CGI for Giganto just for a pizza ad. Therefore, the assumption here is that Giganto will be a part of the film.

Some fans are already complaining about the CGI. Others are complaining about the CGI complaints because it’s a pizza ad. However, I will once again point out there’s no way this firm paid the money to create this monster for an advert. It makes far more sense it was just added to slightly for the commercial.
I’ve got no issues with it, in fact I like it. Having Giganto is definitely a cool nod to issue 1.

There are rumors that the first act of the film will show us various flashbacks of other missions the team have faced. It’s possible, perhaps even likely, this is one of them. We have also heard rumors that Mole Man is in the film, and since Mole Man was the person who set Giganto loose in the comics, it makes sense he’d be involved with the monster here. Whilst it’s yet to be confirmed, I think most in the industry believe Paul Walter Hauser is playing Mole Man in the film. I mean if he’s not, who is, and who then is Walter Hauser playing?
Not long to go now, as The Fantastic Four hits theatres on July 25. About four weeks then till opening weekend and we get to judge the movie for ourselves.
