New The Rings Of Power Season 2 Trailer Drops – This Does Look Better

Well here is my Rings of Power review for the Season 2 finale, and since it was awful, this is also my final review of this series.

A new The Rings of Power Season 2 trailer has drops and once again this season so far looks better than Season 1. Season 1 had a few really good things going for it. However there were also some odd story choices I just didn’t understand.

What these trailers for Season 2 so far show is something more akin to what I think lore fans were expecting from Season 1. Check it out.

We see Sauron in his Annatar form, finally sowing his webs of deceit amongst the Middle-earth populace. None more so than Celebrimbor, who realises all too late who and what Sauron truly is.

It’s clear now that Season 2 will see the forging of the Seven and the Nine. Potentially with Sauron gifting these to others. However, things are all building towards the siege of Eregion as the Season 2 finale. I won’t get into any lore spoilers here, but I am still intrigued by a few of the bad elements of Season 1. I’m kind hoping we get explanations and possibly even retcons for a few of those script choices.

However, we know already that events in Season 2 cannot match up perfectly to the lore. For reasons I won’t go into, the siege of Eregion should only happen after a certain event. That event does not appear to be a component of Season 2. Yet, outside of that, there’s also the decision to have Adar still working against Sauron which perplexes me slightly. I guess I’m just gonna have to wait and see? I’ll be reviewing each episode on LRM weekly.

What do you think of the new trailer for The Rings of Power Season 2? Do you agree with me that so far it looks better than Season 1? Will you be watching Season 2 on Amazon Prime? Thoughts below as always.
