In a display of action and adventure, 20th Century Studios has released the trailer for its latest installment in the Planet of the Apes franchise “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.” Accompanying the trailer release are character posters that provide a glimpse into the captivating world of this epic franchise. The film, directed by Wes Ball, is set to hit theaters worldwide on May 10, 2024, with screenings available in IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and premium screens.
Wes Ball, best known for his work on the “Maze Runner” trilogy, takes the helm to breathe new life into the franchise, transporting audiences several generations into the future after Caesar’s reign. In this evolved world, apes have become the dominant species, coexisting harmoniously, while humans lurk in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader rises to power, a young ape embarks on a perilous journey that forces him to question his understanding of the past and make decisions that will shape the destinies of both apes and humans.
