Today’s Marvel related Barside Buzz features Nic Cage to return as Ghost Rider in the MCU, plus some Spider-Man 4 rumors. Let’s begin with the Ghost Rider news. There’s been rumors forever of Nic Cage being courted to come back as Ghost Rider, but as yet nothing tangible. However, now Daniel RPK says on his Patreon he’s heard Cage will reprise his role as Johnny Blaze. However, he does not know in which project.
“If you remember, I was the first to report that Wesley Snipes would reprise his role as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine. Now, I can confirm that Nic Cage will reprise his role as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider in an upcoming project. I don’t know which one just yet, but there aren’t many options left.”
Not many options left would I assume mean before Secret Wars ends the Multiverse Saga. Still, it leaves us with several options, though my guess would be one of the Avengers movies. Just a guess from me though folks, no inside info.

Secondly today some news from Jeff Sneider on his latest The Insneider Newsletter. Sneider makes several claims about the upcoming movie from Sony and Marvel. Namely the insider says Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil in Spider-Man 4. Which is something we heard way back when about the plot. Sneider also says Zendaya’s role in the film is small due to scheduling. Finally, he backs up what other insiders have said in that symbiotes will be featured in the film.
Maybe the movie we are getting is a combination of the street level movie Marvel wanted and the Multiversal one Sony was after? It remains to be seen, but I also find Jeff one of the best Marvel sources, so I choose to believe he’s confident on these minor details.
