Nicolas Cage Goes Apes**t On Meteorite Aliens In Color Out Of Space Trailer

Nicolas Cage somehow manages to do 1,253 movies a year, so whenever one of these trailers ends up on our desks, I’m eager to see which side of him we’ll be getting. In his new film The Color Out of Space, it looks like we’ll be getting his warm dad side and his crazy psychotic side.

The Color Out of Space comes from the minds of Richard Stanley and H.P. Lovecraft, so it’s fittingly demented and weird, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see what in the hell we get. If the reception the film has had at festival is any indication, we may be in for a real treat.

Below is the official synopsis for The Color Out of Space:

“After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farm, Nathan Gardner (Nicolas Cage) and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a living nightmare. Based on the classic H.P. Lovecraft short story, Color Out of Space is “gorgeous, vibrant and terrifying” (Jonathan Barkan, Dread Central).”

The Color Out of Space hits theaters on January 24, 2020.
