If your top choices were actor Nicolas Cage and mythic horror writer H.P. Lovecraft you are awesome. We should probably grab a beer. However, if you did not, then you must not know who the granddaddy to all the horror s**t is. If that’s the case, you need to track yourself down a copy of H.P. Lovecraft: Anything.

But wait, there certainly are actors zanier than Nicolas Cage. Is that what you think, dear reader? Were you thinking I meant Gary Busey? He did once jump out in front of a Predator and ward it off with a nitrogen gun. Then there was that reality rehab show, right?  Well, you’re right, but Busey ain’t never own no haunted-ass house in New Orleans. If you didn’t know Nic Cage was once the owner of 1140 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70116. That address is the site of the famously haunted house known as LaLaurie Mansion

New Orleans being a seaside town is the right type of place some slumbering nightmare might have dreamt up. Hell, for all we know it, we are all in some great old ones dream. Lol. I mean how in the hell else do we have an actor named Nick Cage who says shit on camera like “You don’t have a lucky crack pipe?” Or how about “If I were to send you flowers where would I… no, let me rephrase that. If I were to let you suck my tongue, would you be grateful?”

To sum it up Nicholas Cage is reuniting with the producing team behind the 2018 critical fawn Mandy. The project is an H.P. Lovecraft adaptation titled Color Out Of Space. The film will be directed by South African filmmaker Richard Stanley. Also, this appears to be the second time the short Lovecraft story will be adapted into film. In 2010 director Huan Vu adapted the short story with actors Ingo Heise, Michael Kausch, Marco Leibnitz, Erik Rastetter, Marah Schneider.
