Niv Sultan & Shervin Alenabi Talk About Their Apple TV+ Series Tehran Ahead Of It’s Season Finale [Exclusive Interview]

Tehran Interview with Niv Sultan and Shervin Alenabi

I have always enjoyed action-packed spy thrillers. Whether it’s a classic 007 James Bond character or a series like Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. It’s always a lot of fun to imagine the way that governments are run behind the scenes. While everyone is going about their day there is a group of individuals constantly saving the world from catastrophe. Being that we are in the United States, oftentimes or not we see the antagonists of these films or series to be of Middle-Eastern descent. There may be an ally here or there but a majority of the time there is an American or British agent saving the day.

APPLE TV+’s Tehran

Lucky for us Apple TV+ has given us an alternative and necessary point of view in the spy thriller series, Tehran. The series tells the story of a Mossad agent who goes deep undercover on a dangerous mission in Tehran, Iran. This mission puts everyone around her in danger. It’s a fantastic series that takes us on a journey into a place with a rich culture, including the soundtracks that compliment the visuals very well. The quality of this series is something we have now come to expect from Apple TV+ after many great series.

Tehran comes from the writer of Fauda, Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, and Maor Kohn. Co-created and directed by Daniel Syrkin. It stars Israeli actress Niv Sultan and critically acclaimed actor Shaun Toub. As well as Navid Negahban, Shervin Alenabi, Liraz Charhi, and Menashe Noy.
