If you are an avid follower of the comics, many thought that Adam Warlock may either make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers 4. For those looking forward to seeing the Godslayer, you’re going to have to wait. According to an article on ComicBookMovie.com the Russo brothers confirmed the omission of the character:
“Yeah [Adam Warlock]’s not showing up in our stories. Our job as we said a million times is to tell the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not to do direct adaptations of the comics because we’re comic book fans.”
The brothers continued by stating:
“If I know all the events story as they’re going to happen then what’s the point of going to the film? We want to keep surprising audiences and continue the story that started with Iron Man […] a decade ago.”
How do you feel about this? I know that directors usually have their own take, but I do also enjoy comic book accuracy. Should Adam Warlock be involved? Since they are not going this route, who do you think the game-changer will be? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
