In 2024, Nosferatu is trying to set itself apart from other horror movies by bringing a new vampire lore to the big screen.

Director and writer Robert Eggers brought the same visual style and captivating storytelling to his previous films, The Northman, The Lighthouse, and The Witch.

The film stars Bill Skarsgård (It, Barbarian), Nicholas Hoult (About a Boy, Mad Max: Fury Road), Lily-Rose Depp (Tusk, Yoga Hosers), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals, Kick-Ass), Emma Corrin (Deadpool & Wolverine, Lady Chatterley’s Lover), and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man, At Eternity’s Gate).

Here is the official synopsis:

Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta and Nancy Tapia were at the black carpet Los Angeles premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatres. The eerie black carpet premiere featured the sarcophagus and carriage from the film as additional photo opportunities.

The entire cast of Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe, with the crew including director Robert Eggers, producer Chris Columbus, producer Eleanor Columbus, co-producer Garrett Bird, director of photography Jarin Blaschke, production designer Craig Lathrop, costume designer Linda Muir, supervising sound designer Damian Volpe, and re-recording mixer David Giammarco.

Many guests and influencers were on the black carpet, including singer Charli XCX, actor Alexander Skarsgård, actor Jaden Smith, actor Dan Levy, Caroline Polachek, Guillermo Diaz, Doug Jones, Tia Mowry, and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman.

Nosferatu is in theaters nationwide on Wednesday, Christmas Day, December 25.
