The eyes are the window to the soul. For a vampire who has no soul, what would their eyes reveal?
The anticipated film Nosferatu, directed by Robert Eggers, will undoubtedly elevate an unusual storytelling and visual style that catapulted his career with past films such as The Lighthouse, The Witch, and The Northman. Audiences always walk out of the theaters in deep discussions over the scenes from their theatrical experience.
Eggers now tackles the vampire tale with his twist.
The cast includes Bill Skarsgård (It, Barbarian), Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road, About a Boy), Lily Rose Depp (Tusk, The King), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Nocturnal Animals), Emma Corrin (Deadpool & Wolverine, Lady Chatterley’s Lover), Ralph Ineson (The Witch, The Green Knight), Simon McBurney (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Manchurian Candidate), and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man, At Eternity’s Gate).
Here is the official synopsis:
Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.

Focus Features released the character poster set featuring the human cast (or we think they’re human) with Nicholas Hoult, Lily Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Emma Corrin. Notice that Bill Skarsgård is conveniently absent as a character poster.
One has to love the shadows covering upper faces to reveal lit dots of their pupils. So far, this aesthetics has given off the Francis Ford Coppola vibes of his film Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Nosferatu is in theaters this Christmas.
