Yesterday saw an official press release for Obi-Wan Kenobi and we were introduced to the cast. Obi-Wan Kenobi actress Moses Ingram has since taken to Instagram to perhaps tease us a little in who her character will be. Whilst that character Ingram is playing is still unknown, she has teased she “plays with lightsabers”. Check out the post below.

“I play with lightsabers”
This presents two possibilities in my mind. Either Ingram is playing a Jedi on the run since Order 66, or she is paying an Inquisitor. The Inquisitors, working under Vader were assigned to tracking down and destroying any remaining Jedi in the Galaxy. We have seen Inquisitors in video games as well as the Rebels animated series. Either of these options is a possibility as far as I am concerned. That’s also assuming that Ingram isn’t just trolling a little due to the lightsaber/Star Wars connection.

Hell, far as we know now, there could be a seen where she picks up Obi-Wan’s lightsaber and plays with it before being told off? Any of these options would work, however the former two present a much more likely outcome for me. If I had to place my bets, I would go with Inquisitor. From little birds I have heard little songs about Vader hunting Jedi and Obi-Wan specifically, though that’s not solid. However, having Inquisitors on the hunt for Kenobi would make perfect sense. Equally though, Ingram could be playing a Padawan who is on the run and Obi-Wan needs to attempt to help her escape the clutches of Inquisitors which outs him in Vader’s sights?
When filming begins in April, I’m betting we might start getting a few more puzzle pieces to play with. Until then, unless any more stars take to social media, it’s all speculation. What do you think of Obi-Wan Kenobi actress Moses Ingram comments? As always, leave any thoughts below.
