Obi-Wan Kenobi has wrapped filming LRM can reveal! This one had seemed highly likely over the weekend, many reports came out about some of the cast members finishing up and heading off. It was speculated by many that this would mean Obi-Wan Kenobi was wrapping soon. Well, it has. The first clue came from THR who reported Rupert Friend had wrapped on the show and was heading to a new project.
The we had a report form the folks over at Bespin Bulletin naming other cast members who had wrapped filming. And we also had Jordan Maison confirm that he thought the show was also wrapping soon. You can catch both through Maison’s reply below. LRM trust both Bespin Bulletin and Jordan Maison as Lucasfilm insiders.

However, once we heard the news, we made a few enquiries just to be sure. We have been told by our own source that Obi-Wan Kenobi has wrapped filming. Now, of course there will still be a ton of post-production work to be done on the show and who knows if any reshoots are planned? But the principal photography for Obi-Wan Kenobi is in the can.
As for speculation on when the show will release, I can’t steer you I’m afraid. That is information I don’t have any insider knowledge on. LRM would simply be speculating along with everyone else. Shockey, Kyle, and myself had a discussion about this two weeks ago on The Cantina and we could not agree. Therefore, that’s not going to help us define when we might see the show hit Disney+.
However, one does wonder if some kind of sneak peak of Obi-Wan Kenobi could now be shown at Disney+ Day in November. I am at least expecting to see some footage of The Book of Boba Fett. Given that most of Obi-Wan Kenobi filmed using The Volume it might have cut down the post-time as compared to Andor which used location shooting? That could mean that Obi-Wan Kenobi hits Disney+ before Andor now,. but again, purely guesswork on my part, for now.
Are you excited that Obi-Wan Kenobi has wrapped filming? Sound off below as always.
