After years of many fans clamoring for it, we will finally be getting that Obi-Wan Kenobi follow-up we’ve all been craving. I mean, seriously, out of all the potential spinoffs that were in development or made under the Disney regime, the only one we really wanted to see was Obi-Wan Kenobi, if only to see Ewan McGregor actually get some good dialogue to work with.

We now know we’ll be getting a Disney+ original series, but apart from McGregor…who is coming back? Happy Sad Confused host recently spoke with Joel Edgerton, and while there was no confirmation, he seemed convinced Uncle Owen (who Edgerton played in Revenge of the Sith) would be returning.

Here’s what Horowitz tweeted.

“Caught up with Joel Edgerton today (check out THE KING! I really enjoyed). I have almost no doubt based on his coy evasiveness that he will be in the Obi Wan Disney+ series. I’ve seen many an actor playfully evade. I’m placing a big bet that Owen will be back.”

Of course, take this all with a grain of salt. This wasn’t even a confirmation. It was just a piece of speculation based on the caginess of an actor…but what do you make of this? Does this mean we’ll be seeing kid Luke at some point?
