Remember way back when that first Deadpool movie gave us its first piece of viral marketing when its title character knocked out Mario Lopez, thereby confirming that it would, of course, be rated R? In the time since then, we’ve been treated to two gloriously R-rated films. Based on those two movies, most would agree that going for the more mature rating was the way go to. In fact, so ingrained are the four-letter words, the sex jokes, and violence that it’s impossible to cut around, right?

No! Deadpool will take that challenge and do so all while flipping you a blurred-out bird in the form of Once Upon a Deadpool. The film will be Deadpool 2 cut to make a PG-13 rating, complete with extra scenes with Deadpool reading a story to Fred Savage, Princess Bride-style. But if you somehow were still wondering if it was real or not, here’s a poster for you.

As you can see, we see Fred Savage and Deadpool Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on top of a mountain, with Deadpool fittingly riding side-saddle. The film is set to hit theaters on December 12 for a 12-day engagement ending on December 24. Some of the money will go to F**k Cancer, temporarily renamed to Fudge Cancer, for obvious reasons.

What do you think of this new poster? Is this everything you’d hoped it would be? More importantly, do you think they’ll be able to pull of that PG-13 rating? Let us know your thoughts down below!
