Operation Napoleon Trailer Is a Modern Thriller Hiding Secrets of a Nazi Plane Crash Site

Almost eighty years after the death of Adolf Hitler and the German Nazi Party, the entertainment industry and the world are still obsessed with creating stories with Nazis because they’re the perfect villains in any movie or series.

Operation Napoleon is an intense action thriller based on the crime novel written by Arnaldur Indridason, first published in 1999 and went on to sell over 16 million copies worldwide.

Here is the logline of the film:

Icelandic lawyer Kristin gets drawn into the vortex of an international conspiracy when she receives footage of an airplane wreck, recently revealed by the melting of one of Iceland’s largest glaciers. The old German World War II plane not only brings ruthless criminals onto the scene, but also CIA director William Carr, who has been secretly trying to remove the wreck for a long time. Kristin refuses to rest until the key has been discovered that will solve the riddle of Operation Napoleon.

The film stars Vivian Ólafsdóttir, Jack Fox, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Iain Glen. Óskar Thór Axelsson directed the film from the screenplay by Arnaldur Indriðason and Marteinn Thorisson.
