Original Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight is happy with the characters She-Hulk appearance. DeKnight, post watching She-Hulk Episode 8, posted his thoughts on social media. A fan then replied more negatively and DeKnight doubled down. Check it out.

I mean I expect a lighter tone from any character in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The show is unashamedly a comedy. That doesn’t mean I love it, as there are several episodes I thought were terrible and a couple not bad ones also. Episode 8 was one of the better ones and I thought Daredevil was pretty cool.

I’d still prefer there to be a darker edge at times when we get to Daredevil: Born Again. However there is no way it’s ever going to be as dark or adult themed as the three seasons of Daredevil were. As for whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing? I think we need to wait and see what Born Again is like. However, I really enjoyed all three seasons of Daredevil, especially the first and third. So will it be better than those? I can’t see it, but I’m not going to judge Born Again on one appearance in She-Hulk. Additionally, I didn’t dislike anything about this version of Daredevil.

As for the fan commenting I have no idea what they are on about with regards to Star Wars? However I would absolutely love to see Steven DeKnight get to do something in that franchise. However I will not be judging an unmade show before I see it. I’m a fan of the tone DeKnight created for Daredevil as well, but it was never going to work on Disney+. Let’s wait and see.
