It’s not often that a Star Wars film has to fight to be the year’s most anticipated release, but I’d have to say, the last film in the SKywalker Saga has some tough competition. The first being Avengers: Endgame, which may be at the top of the majority of nerds’ must watch lists this year. And while it’s not a film, the eighth season of Game of Thrones may top it all, even Endgame (it’s at the top of my list, but not by much).
The lack of excitement, at least on my part and many other that I know and have talked to, not surprisingly comes from our feeling on The Last Jedi, for many of us, it broke our hearts, and for the most part can never be fixed in our eyes. Those feelings aside I do like many of the actors in the film, one of those actor,s Ocar Isaac, recently spoke with Metro UK and talked about how working with John Boyega was one of the most enjoyable apects of being involved with the trilogy. You can check out what he had to say below.
“I think the one thing I can say [about Star Wars: Episode IX] is that it has been the most fun for me, particularly working with John Boyega because we have just had so much more to do together and we just really connected in a great way. It was really a wonderful way to finish it for me because John was the first person I met right when I screen-tested. It was just with me and him. So it just felt like a real full-circle thing.”

Isaac has indirectly let us know that we can expect scenes with his Poe Dameron character and Boyega’s former Stormtrooper, Finn. I like both Finn and Poe as characters, I don’t think they were handled very well, which is how I feel about the sequel trilogy in general. I feel Disney mishandled the classic trio which began the divide of the fandom. Of course I will watch the film, and I will go to the theater, but I won’t be standing in the cold on opening night as I did for The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Rogue One.
