This is hardly a surprise given the end of Season 1, but Owen Wilson is back as Mobius in Loki Season 2. Wilson also says Loki Season 2 shooting soon in the video below. Wilson was answering questions from online, as you have seen many stars do. Check it out below courtesy of Wired. Go to 03:35.
However if you cannot watch here is what Wilson said when asked if he coming back to Loki.
“Yes, he (Owen Wilson) is coming back to Loki. I think we’re gonna start filming that pretty soon. I had a great time working on Loki. Working with Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that.”
Really, as said up top there was never any doubt in my mind that Mobius had to come back for Loki Season 2. How Mobius and the others will have changed in Season 2 is still to be seen. We know that unlike Loki, Mobius mind seemed to be wiped of previous events, and he is kind of back to square one in the TVA again. Loki was of course with Sylvie when she killed He Who Remains, likely resulting in Kang being the new overlord of the TVA.

Will Loki have to convince Mobius of the truth all over again? Will Loki have to pretend to be normal agent in order to try and locate Sylvie once more? So many questions and I’ll be there with bells on. Loki was my favorite Marvel Studios show to date and I cannot wait for Season 2. So glad it films soon as that might mean we get Loki Season 2 early in 2023, fingers crossed?
