The latest Marvel Barside Buzz is that Owen Wilson’s Mobius to have a major role in the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie. The information comes from Daniel RPK’s Patreon service, which usually to me means it’s not 100% solid just yet. However I could totally see this working. Mobius would be great with Deadpool, and given the whole TVA thing, it could absolutely work. Deadpool gets pruned from the Universe he was in and somehow ends up in the main MCU. Perhaps this is also how Wolverine gets involved? For now you can speculate as much as you like because this is the only detail we have. Although, it looks like another insider, Can we Get Some Toast is already backing up the claim. They say, as you’d guess, that the whole TVA is involved.

We do know, as you’d expect that Wilson’s Mobius is back for Loki Season 2. However without knowing how Loki S2 goes down, it’s hard to speculate too much on how he could get involved with Deadpool 3. For all we know, Deadpool, or Jackman’s Wolverine could be teased within that show?

Deadpool 3 will star Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and be directed by Shawn Levy for Marvel Studios. November 8th, 2024 is the current release date for Deadpool 3, so I guess we will start to find out more details as production gets underway.
For now as always, take this rumor with a dose of salt until something more tangible comes out about Wilson for Deadpool 3. However as said above,, I could totally see this working out. Wilson, Reynolds and Jackman sounds like a fun movie no matter who the three of them are playing.
