It looks like Paramount is starting to take their animation branch a whole lot more seriously. Paramount Animation has been around for several years, with films like The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and Sherlock Gnomes being released, but now it is set to gain a whole new level of credibility with a brand-spankin’ new logo!
Variety got a first look at the logo last week, but now, the official Twitter account for Paramount Pictures has shared it, introducing their mascot Star Skipper, a tween girl who (you guessed it) skips a star across the water.
“Paramount Animation has just unveiled our new animated logo featuring our mascot Star Skipper! See the logo in theatres and in 3D, on the upcoming SpongeBob movie, Paramount Animation’s next film summer 2020.”

Now, Paramount Animation joins the likes of Pixar, Disney, and DreamWorks Animation, all of whom of their own dedicated logo. Now, I expect to see some damn good movies on the horizon!
