Two of the most remarkable side characters in Master Chief’s universe of HALO will be the UNSC science team with Dr. Catherine Halsey (played by Natascha McElhone) and Dr. Miranda Keyes (Olive Gray).
With the new HALO series now streaming at Paramount+, it remains to be seen on the real objectives of these two competing scientists with Master Chief in the middle of the complicated story.
So far, it’s obvious that Halsey has no qualms about pushing its Cortana project into fruition to improve the Spartan Project. As for Keyes, it remains to be seen at this time her intentions except to make her own mark within the scientific community. In the end, the series has Master Chief as the key piece of a larger puzzle that all lead to the mysterious HALO.
The series also stars Pablo Schreiber, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Ryan McParland, Burn Gorman, and Fiona O’Shaughnessy.
Here is the official synopsis:
In this adaptation for Paramount+, HALO will take place in the universe that first came to be in 2001, dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.
