Patrick Stewart In Talks To Join Charlies Angels Reboot

Elizabeth Bank’s reboot of Charlies Angels will take the female fronted detective agency global. The Townsend Agency, a security and intelligence service, will feature teams all around the globe. One of those teams will be the next generation of Angels which team is made up of Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.

One interesting think about this project is that it seems to be that there will be multiple characters named Bosley, who in the past acted as the face of the detective agency, Charlie Townsend. Bank’s is set to play Bosley, but according to The Hollywood Reporter Patrick Stewart is in final negotiations to join the Charlies Angels reboot also as a Bosley.

Stewart is best known for his role as Professor X in the X-Men movies as well as Star Fleet Captain Jean-Luc Picard. His next big screen role will be as Merlin in The Boy Who Would Be King. He is repped by ICM Partners, Independent Talent Group and Anonymous Content.

The script was written by Banks and Jay Basu. They worked off an earlier draft by Craig Mazin and Semi Chellas. Banks is also working as a producer on the film along her husband Max Handelman, Doug Belgrad and Elizabeth Cantillon.
