Happy New Year to everyone out there! The end of 2021/beginning of 2022 brings us some great content. I don’t know about you, but I already binged Season 4 of Cobra Kai. Which was awesome! Another one of my favorite series has been tight-lipped regarding their final season in the series. However, all guns are blazing as January 1 brings us the long-awaited Peaky Blinders Season 6 trailer!
Alright, so there is a lot to unpack here. We know that coming off of Season 5, Tommy and the family are in trouble with the botched assassination of Mosley. Tommy looks, and sounds, like a tired man. I know that Peaky Blinders Season 6 is the last, but to see “series finale” made me quite sad. There will still be a film to look forward to, but I became a fan of the series a bit later. I want more!
Anyways, there are so many moving parts to the trailer that it is difficult to really grasp what all is happening. We do see Michael sporting a new stache with his deceiving wife, Gina. He looks to be in quite the position of control, more than likely in America. Michael also appears to have his own posse, which is dangerous. Fans also see the burning of the wagon, which is a gypsy burial tradition. I am assuming this is for Aunt Polly (due to the passing of the wonderful Helen McCrory). It looks as if the Peaky Blinders and Michael are both at the wagon, unless there is another death (completely possible). However, Polly’s funeral is the only individual I could see both groups attending.
Tommy states that there is one more gig, then the Peaky Blinders can rest. Arthur has his name carved into his chest. We see a lot of Lizzie yelling/crying. It doesn’t look good for the Peaky Blinders in Season 6. However, we do see Tom Hardy’s Alfie kicking something over in typical angry fashion (hopefully combining with Tommy?!). There is also a short glimpse of Stephan Graham’s character. I was hoping for him to be Capone, but his cloths look too ordinary. He also appears to be under attack at some point.
The odds look stacked against good ol Tommy and the family. Will he be able to get the help he needs to overpower Mosely, the Billy Boys, and Michael? The Peaky Blinders Season 6 trailer makes it look quite bleak. However, Tommy is always steps ahead. Will he follow suit? Or is this the end? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
Peaky Blinders Season 6 comes out in early 2022.
