In the latest TV spot for Spider-Man: Brand New Day we see Peter gets a little freaked out by his new organic webbing, plus we have a rumored runtime for the film. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be upon us in around four weeks give or take a day as its launches on July 31st. A new TV spot has been shared online and it shows Peter discussing his mutation with Bruce Banner. Peter also has to deal with his new organic webbing and even references Peter-2, aka Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man being okay with it.

The film looks good and I think without a doubt this will be the only Summer film that even gets close to Toy Story 5 (which will win) in terms of box office.

We also have a rumored runtime for the film. Now when I say rumored I mean, this is the runtime as it’s from a source who never gets these wrong, it’s just not official. Ergo, we will call it rumored for now.

How does that compare to the ‘Home’ trilogy by director Jon Watts at 144 minutes?

Spider-Man: Homecoming was 133 minutes, Far From Home was 140 minutes and No Way Home was 148 minutes. Therefore, we are in the same ball park as we have come to expect from this franchise.

I’m not sure what else Marvel can really do to sell the movie now and the forecasts have it being a big hit already. I hope they don’t start spoiling things in the last couple of weeks before release in TV spots or trailer. Sadly it’s a strategy that seems to work for fans.
