Over the past few weeks, we’ve been treated to some fun little teasers for Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home, a tongue-in-cheek follow-up to the original Crocodile Dundee film…at least that’s how it was initially pitched to audiences.

In reality, it was nothing but a campaign for Tourism Australia. But it was a fun project nonetheless, full of gratuitous cameos, and a bunch of silly jokes — and Danny McBride and Chris Hemsworth made for a funny duo. We almost wish it were a real thing.

It turns out we’re not alone, as plenty of other moviegoers out there want to turn Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home a real thing. Now, NT News has started a petition to make this happen — or at least make a new Crocodile Dundee film.

As of this writing, just south of 5,000 people have signed the petition, and if you want to make this happen, you should probably mosey on over there and sign it yourself.

What do you think about the possibility of another Crocodile Dundee movie? Will studios stoop down to that level and make it happen? Let us know your thoughts down below!
