Today we share some photos from the Indiana Jones 5 Sicily shoot currently taking place. The movie’s stars Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller -Bridge are both present. However, unlike with the U.K. shooting photo’s we saw, these ones are harder to work out. Check them out courtesy of Indiana Jones 5 News on Twitter.
Maybe I’m out of line, but I do get the feeling of stepping into the past here. One wonders if some of those time travelling rumors could be true, as this all seems a lot older than the WWII era, and late 60’s era scenes we’ve seen shot already. Though, I’ll also be honest and say I hope that’s not the case here.
Both the boat looking ancient and yet new at the same time, plus that swordsman standing on the wall have me thinking. Is this just a historical site Indy is visiting or something else? However, we also have plane wreckage which marks things as within the modern era. As I said up top, it’s far harder to work out what is going on in this shoot.

For now we do not even know what the title of Indy 5 will be. In fact recently director James Mangold informed us that any title we see is fake, because even he hasn’t decided what it will be yet. Above you will see in the related link a rumor about who Phoebe Waller-Bridge is playing, Since then it has been corrected that she is playing Marcus Brodie’s granddaughter, not his daughter as we previously reported. Brodie’s granddaughter certainly makes a lot more sense than his daughter in terms of the timeline of the movie.
