Possible Costume Descriptions For Titan’s Nightwing And Wonder Girl

Part of what has been great about DC Universe’s Titans series has been the great job that they have done with the character’s costumes. So far Robin, Hawk and Dove look like they have stepped right out of our favorite comic books. We have also seen the promos for this week’s episode titled Doom Patrol in which we have seen what looks like more comic book accurate costumes.

With that all said it would be safe to assume that the next few costumes introduced in the series will also be very close to what we have seen in our favorite costumes. Well SuperBroMovies is claiming that they have details on Dick Grayson’s Nightwing costume as well as Donna Troy’s Wonder Girl costume.

First the report claims Grayson will be suiting up as Nightwing by the end of the first season, leaving his Robin costume behind. The costume is described as “It will be a very dark, almost black colored blue, and it will have the classic blue wing on the front. A costume this accurate is what was expected considering his current suit is ripped straight out of the comics with a gritty, real-world aesthetic.”

We also know that Donna Troy is set to make her debut on Titans sometime this season. The report on her costume claims that she will “be getting a comic accurate costume, although, it’s not the costume most new fans are accustomed to. Wondergirl will not have her Amazonian sword and shield as seen in the newer comics. This may upset some fans, but she will be equipped with her special lasso. Her costume will resemble the classic design and will be red with stars and feature high boots as well as bracelets similar to Wonder Woman.”

If these reports turn out to be real, fans of the character will finally get the opportunity to see their favorite hero in a live action series, something that to date has not happened. Not to mention a lot of viewers will be introduced to Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl, something that would not probably happen on a CW show or the DCEU.
