DC Universe and The CW are a little over a month and a half away from releasing Stargirl. The Geoff Johns’ series stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl. The series will center around her and former superhero sidekick Pat Dugan. Dugan is played by Luke Wilson. The series will feature a heavy dose of the legacy of the classic superhero group the Justice Society of America.

The Injustice Society still lurks in the shadows waiting to strike. Now Stargirl will need to inspire a new generation of heroes. Some of these include classic characters like Wildcat, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Hourman. They will be forced to take on classic DC villains like Tigress, Sportsmaster, Dragon King, Brainwave and Icicle.

To get a better look at the characters, DC Universe has released two posters for Stargirl. One features Stargirl and her team front and center. Underneath them are the villains of the series as well. The other poster is an awesome bright poster of Stargirl holding her Cosmic Staff. You can check them out both below!

Thanks to Warner Bros. I have had the opportunity to see the first few episodes of the series. Although I can’t talk about it yet, I will say that I am very excited to continue to watch it develop. As soon as we can drop a review we’ll be sure to have it here on LRMOnline!
