Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann director Hiroyuki Imaishi has a new film coming out, and if you know anything about his previous work, then you’ll likely know exactly what to expect. This next project is a film called Promare, and in addition to being Imaishi’s latest, it’s also Studio TRIGGER’s first feature film. 

We got a Japanese trailer not too long ago, and now GKIDS has released a new one…except, this time, it has English voices. So if dub’s the way to go, look no further.

In addition to launching the English trailer, they have also announced the full voice cast, and if you’re a fan of English anime dubs, you’ll likely recognize the majority of names on this last, as it consists of tons of industry vets.

Below is the official synopsis for Promare:

“Thirty years has passed since the appearance of Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves “Mad Burnish” appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team “Burning Rescue,” and Lio Fotia, the leader of “Mad Burnish” begins. PROMARE uses a bold cel-shaded visual style to tell a blistering action-adventure story, and is the spiritual successor to many of director Hiroyuki Imaishi’s former works.”
