The internet is in panic mode today. A ‘Protect Steve’ banner was revealed by Netflix ahead of Stranger Things 4 Part 2 release tomorrow. Given that fans were already worried about Steve’s fate, this has done the job Netflix intended by getting fans all worked yup and hyped for tomorrow’s finale.

We will be discussing some Stranger Things 4 Part 1 SPOILERS here folks, so If you were waiting for the full season to binge watch. I’d suggest steering away from this article about now.
Team Hawkins (image above), found themselves in a tricky situation at the end of Part 1. The gang found the entrance into the Upside Down, a way they can actually get to Vecna and kill it. Of course, they have absolutely no clue how to do that and get themselves in far more trouble.
Although the rest of the crew come to help Steve, as first one through he is being eaten alive by evil bat creatures. Given the way previous Upside Down attacks have gone in earlier seasons fans are worried that Steve is now infected. With no guaranteed way to cure him, could Steve slowly fall victim to the infection of the Upside Down in Part 2? It’s a strange billboard to see for sure and it could in fact mean something else. What if Steve is somehow important to their plan going forward and therefore he becomes a target of Vecna? I mean it’s Netflix themselves here and they are saying AT ALL COSTS!

Of course the dangers in Part 2 are not limited to Steve alone. The show creators have teased that not everyone might make it to Stranger Things 5, which will be the final season of the show. Nancy for example is currently in hot water with Vecna. Plus everyone is worried what the hell is going to happen to Eleven. The Hawkins people need her to fight Vecna. However, there’s some General running around with hard on for catching and restraining Eleven. Could they prevent Eleven from saving the day and send Hawkins into a literal Hell hole?
I guess we will find out tomorrow, I know what most of my free time will be spent doing anyway.
