In one of the best dark comedies from the festival circuit, LRM Online received the first look trailer to Publish or Perish about a professor trying to dispose of a student’s body after accidentally killing him to save his tenure with the college.

The film stars Timothy McCracken, James Shanklin, Katie Michels, Anastasia Davidson, Caitlyn Miller, Caleb Liban, Bonnie Clarisse Utter, Nick James, and Mark Wilson.

And the funny thing is that it’s loosely based on actual events from a real tenured professor David Liban, who wrote and directed the film.

The film secured many awards from multiple film festivals, including the Crystal Palace International Film Festival, Beaufort International Film Festival, Los Angeles Theatrical Release Competition, and Sedona International Film Festival, to name a few.

Publish or Perish will be released nationwide in the United States on demand via Amazon, Vudu, and cable beginning on August 18.
