Ralph Breaks the Internet was a worthy sequel to the original, providing a fun and entertaining adventure. While Ralph and Vanellope led the way, there was a scene that stole screen, the one featuring the Disney prncesses all hanging out together. Having Vanellope meet up with all the iconic characters was well received
While fleeing a pair of Stormtroopers, Vanellope found herself in a room with animated versions of Disney’s famous princesses, the ensuing scene has become beloved by fans and has brought up talk, though nothing official, of the idea of them getting their very own movie. Directors Rich Moore and Phil Johnston recently spoke with the The A.V. Club about the scene and the audience’s reaction, you can check out what they had to say below.
“When you’re in Stockholm and they’re saying like, ‘Have you considered doing a movie just about the Princesses?’ I think it’s an idea worth exploring, because everywhere we go, we hear that response. ‘Oh my God, I love the Princesses like that.’ Not just the scene meeting Vanellope and talking about what it means to be a princess, but then to see them in action – it does feel like there’s something to that — that people are finally seeing the Princesses do what you’ve always believed they could do, but you’ve never seen it before.”

Rich Moore:
“I don’t know if there’s any conversations going on here seriously about [a spinoff], but we’ve definitely heard a lot of [positive response from the fans]. The fans are off the charts with the ideas that are out there.”
In my opinion it really isn’t a bad idea, and would likely be a huge hit both critically and financially for Disney. Considering how well the scene is loved, the House of Mouse has to at the very least be considering a film.
