Like many of you, I truly adored the novel nature of Kingsman: The Secret Service but was more than a little let down by its follow-up Kingsman: The Golden Circle. However, unlike many of you, I’m still excited at the prospect of seeing more of this world come together, so long as director Matthew Vaughn is involved.
Of course, the main film on the horizon for us is Kingsman 3, but another big movie that’s gaining some momentum is the prequel film Kingsman: The Great Game. This was one of the many upcoming projects he’s been touting for months now, and not too long ago, our friends at ThatHashtagShow reported that they were hoping to lock down Ralph Fiennes for Kingsman 3. Now, a new claim from Daily Mail reporter seems to somewhat confirm that…kind of.

Here’s what the reporter tweeted:
“Exclusive: #RalphFiennes & @HarrisDickinson to star in #Kingsman:Untitled prequel set during WW1 .Third film in Kingsman franchise now in pre-production with #MatthewVaughn set to direct early part of 2019.”
So, a few things. First, we already know that the prequel film is called Kingsman: The Great Game, so unless something has changed, it being untitled is incorrect information. Second, it looks like Fiennes will be in the prequel, not in Kingsman 3 as initially reported, but I’d like to point out that Kingsman 3 is said to have some connection to that prequel, so it’s understandable there’d be some overall confusion.
What do you think of Ralph Fiennes joining the franchise, and are you excited to see Kingsman 3 already barreling towards its production? Let us know down below!
