Raphael Alejandro returns for the second season of Acapulco. As the nephew of Maximo Gallardo, played by Eugenio Derbez “Hugo” gets to physically connect with Maximo’s past in present time.
The Synopsis
Season two picks up right on the heels of season one, telling the story of 20-something Máximo Gallardo (played by Enrique Arrizon. “Las Hijas de Abril”), whose dream comes true when he scores the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco, Las Colinas. In 1985, Máximo must contend with upheaval at the resort, unexpected problems at home and a new love interest who just might rival the girl of his dreams. Under Don Pablo’s guidance, he sets his eyes on one day running the entire Las Colinas operation by becoming the right-hand man of Diane. Meanwhile, in the present day, older Máximo (Eugenio Derbez, “Instructions Not Included”) returns to Acapulco to make peace with the recent passing of Don Pablo (Damián Alcázar, “La Ley de Herodes”, where he is forced to confront some unfinished business young Máximo left behind.
The young actor has been acting since the age of four. He has made several television appearances and is known for playing Roland in ABC’s hit Once Upon a Time. He has also been in films like Almost Human and Kindergarten Cop 2. The Latin community remembers him for playing Salma Hayek’s son, Hugo in How to Be a Latin Lover with Eugenio Derbez.
The charismatic actor keeps busy. Last year he was seen in Disney productions Jungle Cruise, Bunk’d, DreamWorks The Boss Baby: Family Business. Soon he will be seen in Star Wars: The Old Republic – Disorder and Incoming.

The second season of global hit comedy series “Acapulco” will return on Friday, October 21, 2022 on Apple TV+. The two-episode season premiere will be followed by a new episode every Friday.
