We are about two weeks away from the release of Disney Animation’s new epic fantasy-adventure Raya and the Last Dragon. The film will be making its feature debut in theaters where possible. As well as on Premier Access on Disney+ for $29.99 on March 5th, 2021. Here at LRM Online, we have talked about various aspects of the film including the theme of trust. As well as getting to know what I believe will be one of the audience’s favorite characters, Sisu (voiced by Awkwafina). Now we move on to the creation of the film.
We do this with the help of a new featurette that was released by Disney today titled, Crafting Raya. This featurette sheds light on a very important fact about the creation of Raya and the Last Dragon. It was all done from home! Check it out below!
When you think about all of the departments that have to work together (animators, voice actors, producers, designers, consultants) to get a Disney film made, Raya and the Last Dragon is quite an amazing accomplishment. It speaks volumes about the passion and determination of the team at Disney Animation. Also not to mention that it shows us that despite being faced with challenging times like a pandemic, we can still persevere and make great things happen!
