Reaction To Test Screening Of The Batman Is Positive

Over the weekend it became apparent that WB put on a test screening of The Batman. From what I have been able to gather, it has been confirmed that this test screening was for Matt Reeves The Batman, and that the cut was around three-hours long. Those who watched it, all had to sign NDA’s however that did not stop some spoiler free reactions appearing online through proxy’s. The movie won’t end up as long as that, this is a part of why test screenings are useful to studios.

Check out this reaction below from a friend of BLURAYANGEL on Twitter.

This matches with the other brief reactions I have seen. Those who saw it were shocked by how dark it all is. I have also even heard a rumor that Pattinson narrates the movie as Wayne-Batman. Having Batman narrate, as he does in the comics, is a long requested addition by fans. However, until we get some more confirmation on this one, keep your sodium levels high.

Again, I have heard elsewhere that Kravitz and Dano’s The Riddler are stand outs in The Batman.

Now, fans never like to be expecting some kind of twist in the story. However this could be anything, a villain cameo, something else entirely, so I don’t feel like it’s a spoiler to know the audience all reacted strongly to a moment in the film.

Finally, it is apparently obvious that a sequel is being set up for The Batman.

As a huge Batman fan, I have to say, everything I see and hear about The Batman has me excited. The reaction to this test screening of The Batman is just amplifying that hype inside me. Cannot wait to see this one in theatres. And if The Batman is a s good as I hope, hopefully Pattinson will stick around for a few movies.

As always, sound off below with your thoughts.
