Red Dead Redemption 2 Launch Trailer Brings The Wild West To Consoles

Get ready to play the video game version of Westworld mixed with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly as Red Dead Redemption 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a sequel to the original game from Rockstar Games that was released for PS3 and Xbox 360. Now the worlds are bigger, the visuals crisper and they finally have realistic horse testicles. No kidding, this was one of the more promoted of the new technical innovations presented in this game. Whatever floats your boat I guess?

You may have heard of Rockstar Games, they are the game developers who made those niche, unpopular Grand Theft Auto games, yeah right! GTA 5 has been so successful that Rockstar have basically been able to just keep making new content for that game for years, a game that is literally the life blood of a ton of gaming streamers and YouTube personalities.

I know Red Dead Redemption was a little divisive when it came out, there were those that loved it even more than GTA, and there were also those that simply didn’t care for the game as much. I suppose the Old West setting simply doesn’t appeal to everyone?

I somehow managed to miss the first game, but I think I will definitely be picking up this sequel, as soon as I can find some time to play it. As a fan of both the GTA games and Westerns it seems right up my street and the trailer looks very cool.
