Rick And Morty Season 5 Premiere Cold Open Now Available

The show, Rick and Morty, is loved by many. It keeps getting more and more messed up, which makes us more and more invested in it. We’re humans. We love messed-up shit. Although, it’s not just the bizarre and sometimes horrifying things that happen on the show that keeps us in. The growth of the characters is another. Rick has grown to care more about his family and Morty and Summer have gotten stronger and smarter. Also, Jerry isn’t as pathetic. Although, Beth is still messed up and with season 5 approaching, we will get some answers which Beth is which.

The Season 5 Cold Open

We’ve seen the trailers of Rick and Morty and we’ve picked through all the little bits of information they gave us. With the cold open, we get some of them to connect. Morty carries an injured Rick back their ship surrounded by purple crystals that show the adventures of other Ricks and Morties I’m assuming. It could be what could have been. I don’t know yet. Then, as their crashing down to Earth, Morty makes a call to Jessica and they set up a date. Took him long enough. I was wondering why Jessica was so heavily featured in the trailers. Next, the ship hits a palm tree and they land in the ocean. Finally, the weird sea man, Mr. Nimbus, arrives. Apparently, he is Rick’s nemesis and Rick is not allowed to touch the ocean.
