Riverdale ‘Nighthawks’ Trailer: Archie Is Cursed

The season premiere of Riverdale saw a close to the arc that kicked off the first season of the show, with certain loved ones involved in the murder of Jason Blossom, and another on the brink of death.

However, while the show was involved in wrapping up those loose ends, it was also involved in setting the stage for things to come. This came in the form of a mysterious figure clad in a jean jacket and black hood who is on the rampage in the quaint little town.

Whereas the first season of the show was largely about a murder that was one and done, this season looks to focus on a potential serial killer — someone with a motive that revolves around Archie Andrews itself.

This latest trailer for the next episode of The CW series certainly continues that throughline. From the looks of it, the murder of Jason Blossom in that first season was a proverbial cork that, once uncorked, unleashed a whole lot of bad that had been boiling beneath the picturesque surface of Riverdale. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
