Ruby Rose On Being Cast As Batwoman

As we all know, the wonderful Ruby Rose has been cast as Batwoman, and will make her appearance in The CW Crossover Event this year with her own show, hopefully, around the corner!

I don’t know about you, but I am extremely excited about this casting. If you check out the video above, Rose gives her side on being cast, and she becomes a bit emotional.

Her reactions are extremely heartfelt, and you can tell that she will bring passion and empathy to the role. The part that was extremely eye-opening to me was when she said the following on The Tonight Show:

“I never saw someone on TV that I could identify with, let alone a superhero.”

What a really powerful statement on how large of a step this is, and how some will finally have a superhero they can relate with. I feel that most individuals favor specific superheroes because they can relate to them in some way, shape, or form.  Shouldn’t everyone be able to experience that?
