We know there are a ton of expected movies still be officially announced by Marvel for the MCU. So far we have a confirmed slate up to the end of 2021. We also know that after 2021 we definitely have Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, Guardians 3, and Blade all coming. We can also assume by recent comments from Kevin Feige that a third Ant-Man movie will also be happening in the near future.

However, today’s rumor from scooper Charles Murphy and indicates Ant-Man 3 could start filming as early as 2021. Check out the post below.

Now, I am definitely sure we will be getting an Ant-Man 3, although it will probably be Ant-Man and the Wasp 3. However, I am skeptical about it shooting as early as 2021. We don’t know for sure, but it does seem as if this movie was behind the others I mentioned above in terms of schedule. Usually, Marvel shoots their movies around a year before release, so that would put Ant-Man 3 firmly in the 2022 release category if this is true.

Maybe we just haven’t heard as much rumor around this as we have some of the other movies, but we know officially that all those films are coming, they are not rumors, we just don’t know when. Either way, Murphy has a pretty solid track record, so I’d be inclined to at least believe that Marvel Studios is currently eyeing this strategy, even if they end up changing it down the line.
