RUMOR: Marvel Planning A Solo Film For Storm Of The X-Men

Recently we finally heard from marvel regarding the properties they acquired from Fox when Kevin Feige confirmed Deadpool 3 would both be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and have an R rating. Today we learn of a rumor that poses Storm of the X-Men will be getting her own solo film.

This juicy scuttlebutt comes from the outlet Giant Freakin Robot who received the information from a trusted source inside Marvel that says the company is, “working on a project called Marvel’s Storm.” Of course, this is unconfirmed. A grain of salt for the time being.  However, If this rumor turns out to be true, it’s interesting that Marvel would bring the mutants in via a solo film, as opposed to introducing the core of the team all at once.

For the most part, Marvel has been quiet on the when, where, and how the introduction of the X-Men into the MCU will happen. Marvel Mastermind Kevin Feige has dropped tiny little pieces of information here and there, but nothing of substance.

Being a fan of almost all the X-Men, I would be all for this rumored Storm solo film, but as always with these types of rumors, I wouldn’t get too excited until we receive official word.
