Get ready, Marvel fans, because there may be a big announcement pretty soon. And I don’t simply mean Marvel or Marvel Studios, but Ms. Marvel. You know, the teenage Pakistani American character inspired by Captain Marvel and the Avengers? She also doubles as kind of a representation of the fangirl culture in many ways, and as such, there are a lot of people who have connected with her.

This past August, it was revealed that Ms. Marvel would be starring in her own Disney+ series in the future, though the question is when is one that hasn’t been answered yet, as Marvel Studio’s fourth phase of films and shows is already pretty packed.

But according to YouTuber Grace Randolph, we may have some news regarding the hero very soon.

Sadly, as with all rumors, you need to take this with a grain of salt. Randolph’s sources could be bad, but even if they’re right, things change every five seconds in Hollywood, so Marvel Studios may opt to delay an announcement even if they do have a lead.

Additionally, the word “soon” is quite the nebulous one, and ultimately means nothing. But, if true, it’s a pretty exciting thing. While I’m not the biggest fan of the character, I have enjoyed her interactions with a lot of the other Marvel characters, and she’ll be a nice addition to the “kid crew” that started with Peter Parker.
