Hello, what have we here? A sweet, salty rumor regarding everyone’s favorite (or least favorite franchise, depending on where you stand) franchise? That’s right. While most big talk tends to revolve around the Star Wars films, we can’t ignore the amazing prospect the impending live-action TV series could be. Plus, given that it comes from the man himself Jon Favreau, I’m sure it’ll be solid.
But if you had doubts, we have a rumor that may help assuage them. According to Making Star Wars, Pedro Pascal may be in the running to lead the film. More specifically, the report said he was “being held up as a central lead” in the Star Wars series. They went to repeat that they cannot confirm whether or not this is indeed true, but it is something their source has sent their way.

Pascal, for those who don’t know, is perhaps best known for his MIND-BLOWING role in Game of Thrones as Oberyn Martell. He also played a hefty role in Kingsman: The Golden Circle and the Netflix original series, Narcos.
There are no details regarding Pascal’s potential role in the series, but I doubt there will be any fans out there who’ll find something to hate about this news, should it come to fruition.
