The Batman continues to be one of DC Films’ more elusive projects. After it going round and round with Ben Affleck for a good year or two, it’s since been under the wing of War for the Planet of the Apes helmer Matt Reeves. We’ve had some minor updates from the film as of late, but everyone’s been pretty tightlipped about the whole thing, which makes this supposed leak pretty interesting.

What leak, you ask? Well, Thomas Polito of the outlet The Geeks Worldwide (who have their hands on a good number of random film details these days) took to Twitter to share an interesting piece of art. More specifically, he showed off what he claims is a temporary Batman logo for The Batman. He not only claims it as temporary logo, but states that it will likely remain close to this, save for the font color and style.

Check it out down below.

Polito gives us no insight into where he got this logo, so it’s really hard to judge. In all honesty, were this not a post associated with The Geeks Worldwide, I’d be quick to dismiss it outright. That being said, the fact that it’s not on their site proper should perhaps give an indication of how credible this is. Additionally, it does seem a bit suspicious that something can be both rumored and temporary, as it really gives them room to wash their hands of it if it turns out false.

But what do you think of this logo if it is true? Will you be sad to see the fat, Frank Miller-inspired logo go? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
