There is something alluring about action films that involve the protagonist in an unfortunate situation and needs an escape. In Run & Gun, the film features many off-the-wall characters, action sequences, and clever conversations.

The film stars Ben Milliken, Brad William Henke, Janel Parrish, Mark  Dacascos, Celestino Cornielle, Angela Sarafyan, Alison Thorton, Hudson Yang, Michelle Campbell, Ari Barkan, Rafael Cebrian, and Richard Kind. Christopher Borrelli directed the wrote the movie.

Here is the synopsis of Run & Gun:

After leaving a life of crime and violence, Ray is a reformed good guy, enjoying quiet family life in the ‘burbs. But when his past is discovered, Ray is blackmailed into one last job to collect a mysterious package. After a deadly double-cross, he finds himself wounded and on the run from ruthless assassins who will stop at nothing to get what he has. Now, with the lives of his loved ones hanging in the balance and danger at every turn, Ray’s only hope is to draw upon his violent past to survive.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with actor and executive producer Ben Milliken on this film. We talked about his love of action films, doing his own stunts, and even researching the Mandela Effect.

Ben Milliken had his first television role with McLeod’s Daughters. He continued in numerous film and theater productions that included Newcastle which made its world premiere at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. He landed on many film and television projects that included Universal’s Blue Crush 2, CSI: Miami, Melrose Place, and Amazon’s Bosch.

Run & Gun is available digitally today. It will be released On Demand and DVD on March 1st.
