In a worldwide celebration of everything green, Ryan Reynolds watched himself in the 2011’s Green Lantern film for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
Of course, it was a publicity stunt to his Aviation American Gin. Not to mention, it’s also riding the wave of Zack Snyder’s Justice League film that premiered today on HBO Max.
With the stars universally aligned, Reynolds took to Twitter to live Tweet his comments, thoughts, and reactions in the film that to some people is considered one of the worst DC films made so far.
The actor opened up his first Tweet with a short 20-second video of him pouring green Aviation American Gin into a glass for the opening scene of the movie.

He even revealed that he still owns a replica of the Green Lantern prop ring.

In Reynolds’ sarcastic fashion, he mocked the CGI in the film. Well, he’s been mocking the CGI in this film for years.
See if you can spot the CGI! pic.twitter.com/aXUXA8kR2i

When Michael Clarke Duncan showed up in the film, he mentioned the late actor. Yes, we miss him too.
Goddamn I miss Michael Clarke Duncan.

At the point Parralax makes an appearance, he pokes fun at the villainous creature that he was no match for something called “2020.”
Parrallax thought he was so bad. He had no clue 2020 would make him look like a fucking Beanie Baby. Go back to space, asshole.

E True Hollywood Story should do a “where are they now” piece on Hector’s mustache. I genuinely wonder what it’s been up to.

There’s a lot of heavy hitters in the movie. Not always used in the right way… but still… heavy hitters.

Then, in conclusion, he defended the Green Lantern movie by crediting the cast and crew. Such a gentleman.
Maybe it’s the Aviation Gin talking, but #GreenLantern was nothing to fear! Hundreds of incredible crew and cast members did amazing work — and while it’s not perfect, it ain’t a tragedy. Next time I won’t wait a decade to watch.

Lastly, he plugs everything from his gin, St. Patrick’s Day, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
