Sabine Wren rumored to make debut in Mando S3! according to pretty regular Star Wars leaker Jordan Maison, Sabine Wren will make her live-action debut in the third season of The Mandalorian. Actor Natasha Liu Bordizzo is already confirmed to be appearing in Ahsoka which is still filming now. However Maison claims she also appeared, (perhaps only as a small cameo towards the end?) in Mando, which comes before Ahsoka.

As you can see SWNN speculated upon this possibility and Maison says that speculation is accurate. I guess we will have to wait and see whether this rumor pans out. We hear at LRM have traded notes with Maison before and I’m confident he has genuine Lucasfilm sources. As I’m sure you know that still doesn’t always equal accurate information, but his hit rate is strong.
Given Mando S3 seems to be very Mandalorian centered (from footage), it would not be a surprise to see Sabine appear. After all, Sabine herself has previously been a wielder of the Darksaber. The Darksaber seems to be driving where the plot is going, and it’s currently owned by Dinn (Mando) himself.

Then again, Sabine did give up the Darksaber to Bo-Katan. That’s why Bo-Katan knows getting the Darksaber without winning it seems to be an issue. It also seems like Sabine’s story is going in a slightly different direction for now with Ahsoka. From what we can tell, that direction is very much pointed at locating Grand Admiral Thrawn and therefore Ezra Bridger.
However until Ahsoka hits or a few more details leak, we cannot say for certain how that show will go.
What do you think of Sabine Wren rumored for Mando S3 appearance? Do you think it would make sense for a small debut from Bordizzo there as Sabine? As always, leave any thoughts below.
